So we just had our appointment to sign all of our forms & to be shown how to inject & we are starting in January. I am so overwhelmed. From my appointment in November to now, it’s all gone so quick. I’m such a mix of emotions. We are on long protocol x

Myself and my partner are looking to go down this route! Glas things moved quickly for you. Please may i ask what the process was from start to finish and if your private or NHS?
Good luck with your treatment ! Remember anything you are not sure of just ask the clinic to explain it to you Make sure at each appointment you know what the next step is going to be Janet
Hi lovely! Just wanted to wish you all the best for your first cycle in January. Don’t worry it will feel overwhelming at first but enjoy Christmas and think of it as the fact you are finally on that journey to get your beautiful baby.
For the injecting I wasn’t a fan of needles but once I had the first one mixed and injected I felt so much more confident that the rest were a breeze and for me it didn’t hurt.
This support group is amazing and always here if you need a chat xxx
Good luck with your treatment. It might seem overwhelming especially when you see the amount of medication you must take. I used to have all my medications stay in the one big box they came in.Then i put the calendar on how to take the medications in the box. I felt like see all the medications would be overwhelming so i would take them one by one out the box and used them. Also the injection will become overwhelming but just look at the end game. Good luck again.
Hi lovely. Looks like we'll be doing a long protocol at roughly the same time! This is my second cycle and just wanted to reassure you that the injections aren't so bad once you get used to them. I remember how overwhelmed I felt though so I totally understand. We're all here if you ever need lifting up! xxxx
Hey guys. Thank you so much for all our support. This forum is amazing. I would just like to ask for those that are NHS, about finding? Nothing has ever been mentioned to me about funding, neither did I fill any forms out about funding, I just signed all my consent forms along with my ID is this normal? I’ve also already picked up my first set of injections ready for the new year. X
Hi Chloe, We completed our first cycle in Novemeber and never signed anything re funding so don't worry. I think the NHS will have isntructed the clinic and that's all they need. Best of luck round 2 for us next year but all things crossed for you xx
All being well with my thyroid, we will be starting our first ever cycle in January too! I think once you actually get into a clinic things move really quickly! Best of luck to you!!
Could I ask how long it took for your thyroid to become stable?I have my nurse planning appointment in January but only started meds for my thyroid yesterday.
