Hi

Just over 1 month until our first FET, eek. We had a fresh cycle a couple of months ago which was unsuccessful 😩.

What are peoples tips to help me prepare for it in the hope this embryo implants. I’m eating healthy although still have some chocolate because I can’t do cold turkey. Taking my vitamins. Many thanks

Avoid processed foods - reduce sugar - try cut out or reduce caffeine herbal tea decaf coffee-keep taking supplements pre-natal vits folic acid L-Arginne to keep the lining of your healthy. Take gentle exercise -long walks also good for reducing stress levels Make sure your getting a good nights sleep and look for ways to reduce stress levels - read a good book -watch silly funny films There is a link to fertility yoga on fertilitynetworkuk which you might find helpful with stress levels Good luck with FET

if you don't have clotting issues take 75mg aspirin at night, good luck!

I would say try not to think too much about it, your body will know what to do. I was so stressed and I wish I had relaxed more. Good luck 😃🤞

My two fresh transfers this year implanted but didn't get past six weeks and weren't very strong from the beginning. First FET after that was a completely different experience and outcome - the process is so much gentler and there is some evidence that they can be more successful as your body hasn't just been through so much. It seems for me I also have an issue with progesterone (resistance, not low levels) and as soon as we fixed that for the FET with progesterone pessaries vaginally - not rectally - plus lubion, it worked. The NICE advice is now to go with progesterone pessaries vaginally if there's miscarriage risk so something to consider. I also added aspirin, lots of b&c vits and folate (rather than folic acid). I didn't give up anything really and I think just trying to have a good balance for overall health is best (also chocolate = endorphins!). Best of luck x
