Today is OTD and we have tested negative. We did test early so it’s not a surprise but we are obviously disappointed as we were holding on to a tiny bit of hope!
What is your experience of periods after failed FET? I am assuming it is going to be quite heavy and painful? Also, did your next cycle come as normal? We are keen to try again as soon as possible so I am hoping my period will come as normal in December and we will be ready for a transfer in January.
Thanks.

So so sorry about your negative 💕 I really can’t remember how long my af took I do remover it was heavier xx good luck with your next one am so happy to see your already wanting to keep going!xx
I am so so sorry you’ve had a negative test - it’s heartbreaking and I really hope you’re taking good care of yourself right now to process any grief and heal from what you’ve just endured.
For me, it can vary quite a lot in terms of how long it takes to get my period after I come off the meds - usually the higher dose of progesterone I’ve taken means I have to wait longer - it’s been anything from 4-10 days from OTD. The uncertainty is really frustrating. Also, sometimes I have a very normal period, other times it’s been incredibly painful and I’ve actually passed some large clots/tissue (sorry if tmi but i feel like no one ever warned me about this!!). I’ve never had a bfp so i don’t think our embryos ever actually implant or develop so have no clue why it can be so different from one cycle to the next
My cycles usually take one or 2 months to settle back down - quicker if i’ve had a fresh cycle because i think when you have a FET and basically they shut down your ovaries it can take a bit of time for them to kick back into action again!
Sorry not to be able to give more certainty but it’s really different for everyone, even from one cycle to the next. Be kind to yourself right now xx
