This time last year I spent all day, everyday, crying. In February 2019 we attended our first IVF consultation. We left devastated because we were told that ivf was not suitable for us due to my low AMH which was 2.3. We needed IVF because my OH had 100% bound antisperm antibodies due to a vasectomy/reversal. Thanks to the strength of my dear OH and the amazing support on this forum I didn’t give up. We battled on. We got advice from a second and then a third consultant. We started our first round of ICSI in April/May 2019 (I was 34). From 3 follicles we had 2 eggs collected. They both fertilised. They both grew to day 3 embryos. We had them both transferred. OTD gave us our BFP. Our viability scan showed we were pregnant with a singleton. At 40 weeks plus 4 days our little boy came into the world. My labour was straight forward and lasted less than 7 hours. I’m writing this looking at my little boy who is a picture of health. He was born 5 weeks ago.
I hope my experience encourages ladies like me to not give up. If you don’t like what one consultant tells you, keep fighting, find another, and if the second one is no good keep going! Find a third!
Thank you to Diane who supported my OH when I couldn’t. Diane you made such a difference to us.
Stay strong ladies. Keep fighting. X

Tears of joy reading this. Thank you so much for your words and massive congratulations with your baby boy. Wish him and u all the health and love xxx 😘
Just what I needed to hear actually. I had only posted today aswell.
I am due to start IVF in a few months. I was told 2 weeks ago my AMH is 3.4 and I am 32yrs old. I have Endometriosis as well. Which is the main reason for my low score. I desperately need surgery but I have to wait till after I have a baby. I just hope a miracle happens.
I am over the moon for you. Knowing it all worked out in the end. It's just fantastic x
Stories like this are so inspiring and give so much hope to others. There was so much room for doubt given those factors and yet your little boy exists. Congratulations 💐
Hi Countrymouse. At home on my little iPad browsing the posts, and saw yours! What fabulous news to hear of the safe arrival of your precious boy. Now your adventures will begin for you and your OH. Always my pleasure to have been of some help. xxxxx’s for your boy and a BIG HUG each for you and OH. Diane
Thank you so much Diane. You really did save the day at the time. You made such a difference to my OH who had no one to talk to at the time (the army man from the north if you remember). Xx
Congratulations. Such wonderful news!Thank you so much for sharing your story too. I also have low AMH (although I’m also a few years older than you) and I’m hopefully starting a new cycle next week! I’m trying to be strong and positive but a part of me is also freaking out! This has given me hope and has made me smile. Thank you and congratulations again xx
