Holistic medicine to concieve

Hi all. Just to ask has anyone used holistic medicine to get pregnant. If so how long did you have the medication for before you concieved x

Hi. I use Chinese herbs from my acupuncturist when trying naturally. No BFPs yet though... lots of us also use herbal supplements too xx

Not sure what's classed as a herb aa opposed to a supplement but I take coenzyme q10, maca, then vit D, vit E, Royal jelly, Alpha Lipoic Acid xx

I used traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) during IVF and I was shocked by how effective it was (I saw differences after 1 month) for regulating/normalizing my cycles. At the point, I've been through 3 rounds of IUI with Clomid, which really messed me up. We did IVF after my cycle normalized, and it worked out well for us (6 embryos, 3 PGS normal), and my transfer was successful. I don't know how much to credit the Chinese medicine with the IVF results, but I will definitely credit it with getting my cycle back to normal super quickly.

I used an American agency for TCM because random Chinese doctor in Chinatown seemed risky (I'm Chinese and feel uncomfortable with those old TCM shops in Chinatown; not that I think there is anything wrong with them, but I just prefer the more modern/standardized approach). Let me know if you want me to give you the name of agency, I did the consult over Facetime. Btw, I totally get how weird it is to drink random bitter concoction (they send your medication to a Chinese pharmacy that preps it and ships it in pre-cooked packets, so you don't have to do it yourself), and I grew up drinking that stuff!
