Hi, Ladies.

IVF meds are expensive, I'm sure all of us on this thread are already aware of this fact.

Can anyone suggest which store tends to be cheaper to buy supplies from here in the U.K.

I can’t help sorry.... someone will though... I’ve seen a conversation about it before...

but I wanted to share how frustrating it is about how many needles you get sent! I had enough left over from last time and they’ve sent the same again! I now have (heading to my 3rd cycle) over 150 needles! 😂😂😂

Good luck! xx

I use my spare syringes at school in water play! Great for fine motor development. But obviously I don’t use the needle part for this... they’re just sitting in a drawer.

That’s a great idea! I’ll see if my school teacher pals have any use for them xx

Apparently Asda operate a no profit system for ivf drugs, but I’ve never used it myself.

Asda! I knew it was Asda!

I found Biodose cheaper than Asda (even with the delivery charge) but it’s worth getting quotes from both. If you email them they will let you have a quote.

Stork@healthnethomecare.co.uk

Boots were pretty similar last time as well but we’re the most expensive a few years ago.

I found that stork was cheapest for my medication this cycle. I also got a quote from Asda too.

Stork are who my clinic use and they say they have a deal with them- perhaps ask your clinic about this too?

My clinic also used stork and because I had phoned around and found stork the cheapest I was happy with my clinic to go ahead with sending the prescription. My dr did say in other appointment that Asda also sell ivf drugs and she was happy to give me the prescription if I found they were cheaper. I do know some clinic charge if you want a copy of your prescription. X
