So Iv been for my scan today and my lining was 8. I am taking progynova 3x per day and am due to start my progesterone pessaries on Sunday 3x per day. I’m so worried something will go wrong, like it won’t thaw correctly, it’s our ONLY frostie and it was frozen on day 5 but took the full of day 5 to develop and split. It’s been graded 3bb, I don’t know what that means.
Guess I’m just looking for some reassurance and any one who’s going on the journey with me, transfer day next Thursday 28th 🤞

Please try not to worry about the thaw. I spent time worrying about this back in August when it was time to have an FET (my first one), the probability of it thawing well is so high so you need to cling on to that fact! Good luck x
I was worried about the thaw and for some reason had it in my head that FETs didn't have as much chance as fresh transfers. I think it's actually the opposite overall. On grading, on my first fresh transfer the NHS clinic told us we had the best quality blast the embryologist had seen but it still ended in a chemical. For the FET (different clinic) they a had a policy of not telling you the quality and just said they were all 'good' (that was after a fresh transfer so I assumed it was lower quality if they transfer them in order). That one stuck. So just from my experience, the FET was much gentler, shorter, there seemed to be more control over the timings and meds, it worked(!) and we'll never know what the grading was but it didn't make any difference on our fresh round anyway. I hope this makes you feel a less less anxious and best of luck!
3bb is a good quality embryo hun, there's every likelihood it will thaw without any problems. I also have a FET next Thursday or Friday (natural cycle so waiting on my LH surge to know which), also had a lining of 8.1 at scan today. Wishing you so much luck with your transfer and pregnancy. 😊
I had two ‘perfect grade A’ embryos transferred, one in October and one in February - both BFN. My grade B stuck on my latest transfer, it’s early days but fingers crossed this is our time 🤞🏻. They wouldn’t freeze it if there wasn’t a good chance it would survive so that’s a super positive sign. Lots of luck with your transfer xx
Sending you lots and lots of luck for your transfer. It’s only natural to worry about the thaw, you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t but it’s really rare they don’t make it these days and yours sounds like a strong one 😊
As for the time it took to develop. I’m currently 13 weeks pregnant with a day 6 frostie so honestly don’t get too hung up on that detail. A bit slower doesn’t mean it won’t work 😘 xx
Wishing you all the best for your FET! Going for a FET in a couple of months and I can’t wait! Although I understand your worry, try to think positive and you are half way there! 💫
Good luck! I've never worried too much about the grading. I've seen so many stories on here of so-called poorer quality embryos being transferred and succeeding, and yet top quality blasts failing... you've got every chance xx
