I am 6 weeks 6 days had a viability scan yesterday and heard baby heartbeat and was a great day.
Just now I have been to the toilet and I was peeing blood and wiped and red blood so petrified as to what’s going on.
I am not sure what to do as I have lost all hope after a chemical last cycle and now this is happening.
I rang my clinic and they said not to worry it’s normal and to go a&e if I get severe pain and clots
It's not necessarily a miscarriage, bleeding can be from other things, so I've got my fingers crossed for you. More anxious waiting, it never ends does it!! Big hugs xxx
Thanks for replying I have cramps accompanied with the bleeding. I have constipation and trapped wind which doesn’t help the cramping. I’m monitoring it today. It’s so bad how there is no support for women who experience this as in you will not get scanned till your certain amount of weeks. Just been told to go a & e if I have clots. I think with my track record first thing for me to do is panick and assume the worst. The sad thing is I heard the heartbeat the other day which gave us hope and now feel like it’s been taken away from us.
I hope you find everything is OK with baby. Around the same time as you had the exact same bleeding and ended up being a haematoma during pregnancy. Blood clots cramps etc. He is now coming up 3 years old. Thinking of you xx
When I had similar the clinic told me to rest in bed and eat a high protein diet.
I had bleeding at about the same time as you which lasted 8 days - which I thought was heavy for 4 days and really freaked out. I got a scan and saw that the bleeding was a small area of haemorrhage near the cervix and nowhere near the placenta. Told it would stop in a few days but not to worry. It did stop. The reason? “One of those things and pretty common” was what I was told. Not sure if your fertility clinic would scan you again for you to see (the nhs is unlikely in my experience) - but it really put my mind at ease.
Was told to take note of pain (not just cramping) and lots of fresh blood & clots.

I bled on and off from week 5 to 8 and was told not to worry unless I had pain too. I particularly bled a little more a day after my internal first scan. Try not to worry. It’s not uncommon. X
Are you on progesterone, that could be it
Yes I am
On progesterone one lubion a day
I had bleeding up to week 14 and it was progesterone causing it. Can be normal as it can iritate the cervix.
