IVF injections stims menopur spotting

Hi please could anyone give me any advice.. I was out on the pill for 6 days before starting my menopur stims. I’m on day 3 injection (just this evening) and I’ve been spotting and a bit more than that . Just really worried and don’t know if this is normal because of the stims or stopping the pill? I also was spotting on the pill but ever so lightly. More fresh blood now tho.

Hi Loveheart. Sounds like it is a bit of a withdrawal bleed from stopping the pill. Hopefully all will continue as it should, but do mention it to your clinic. Good luck! Diane

Thanks so much for your reply. I was beginning to panic but I’ve spoken with the clinic this morning and she said just as you said it is the withdrawal bleed from the pill and should stop by my next appointment. Thanks again… what a stressful time it is! X
