Headaches while on Menopur stims

I'm into day 6 of my stims and still getting daily headaches which I thought would ease once my hormones were switched on again. Is anyone else getting this? x

Hi WeeMrsH. So sorry to hear that you are suffering from headaches since starting on Menopur. It does work on the pituitary gland in the brain, so can cause frontal headaches. However, it is made from human sources, so maybe mention it to your clinic, just in case you are getting a reaction from it. Hopefully, you won't be on it for too much longer, so perhaps just ride it out.- Hope all soon settles back down for you, and you get a good response this cycle. Diane

Hi there. Just wanted to say that I had the most horrific headache on days 2&3 of stims. Exactly as you suggested the clinic said it was just due to the change in hormones and it would ease as my body got used to the next lit. They said I could expect another one possibly when I start the progesterone (oh joy!)

They did suggest to supplement the water with isotonic drinks which may be worth a try. Really hope it eases for you. You seem to have had a rough time with headaches this cycle. 😔

It was the same last time - but more so on down reg which was to be expected. But they don't normally last once I start stims. I'll ask clinic tomorrow. Starting to get me down 😔

Yep, back on Friday. Not sure what to expect re EC but will certainly ask!
