Cyclogest

Hi, hope you all well. I've had my egg transfer on 26th August and I'm on cyclogest. After going through Google and reading some of the posts on here I'm noticing people have some side effects from it whereas I'm absolutely fine. I'm just concerned because is it normal not to feel any pain or discomfort? Also, should I be walking around lots or bed resting? I wasn't told anything about the after care x

Hi Biscoff,

It's absolutely fine to feel well! Congratulations on your transfer! Now the difficult wait.

We all react differently to meds and we all have different needs. As far as I know there is no after care, my clinic told me to get on with my life. And so I did. First time we went cycling for a week (not something I normally do), the second I went back to work. First time worked, the second didn't.

How do you feel? It's always best to listen to your body but at the end of the day there is always that much we can do. .. good luck to you!

Hi Biscoff. I am in the same boat as you, also had a recent transfer and also on cyclogest with no side effects. Although we are lucky not to have uncomfortable side effects I completely get that it introduces concerns because you wonder if it's working! My clinic told me to carry on as normal afterwards. I have been doing short walks, nothing too strenuous x

Hi lovely, whilst taking Cyclogest I didn’t have side affects until aa but after my BFP but that could have been have been the pregnancy. I started using them the front way and I found it so messy I decided to use the back. Usually 20 to 30 mins after my stomach would urge me to go to the loo and then I would be fine. In terms of the 2ww I felt normal and really believed it didn’t work but I was wrong.

In terms of after care my husband done the hoovering 😂and I didn’t lift anything heavy. I walked for exercise but not loads and tried to keep a healthy diet nothing special just foods I would normally eat.

As I always say try and keep the faith. All the best xxx
