Hi, I don't know the answer but am interested in what people have to say as I have had the same issue with 6dp5dt spotting and have consequently had an increased dose of progesterone. Good luck 👍
Hiya, no not had the transfer yet. I've got a last minute blood test to have tomorrow to check my TSH levels but all being well with that the transfer would be Thursday.
My clinic seem to think ‘combination’ treatment holds off the period until you stop the medication. It did for me anyway and I used crinone gel and lubion and I usually have a shortish luteal phase. Hoping you get a BFP x
As far as I know high level of progesterone will stop you from spotting. Also I think you still have a chance as your embryo was graded 3, it means that wasn't an expanded embryo like grade 5 or 6, so might take slightly longer to implant and produce HCG. Fingers crossed 🍀🤞 for a positive outcome 💕🤩🥰
I was wondering earlier actually if it might take a bit longer than last time! I’m not testing until test day now so what will be, will be. Thanks for the advice. Will see what Thursday holds! Xx
Hello, my first transfer failed. We had our last embryo 3BC transferred. We’ve just delivered our little dream. Grading of embryos can be so disheartening. Ours was a little dream come true. I was placed on higher dose of progesterone too to stop bleeding which happened in previous transfer. Baby dust to you. Xx
It’s different for everyone, for some the medication stops you from bleeding/spotting and others it doesn’t. There’s also a few reasons for spotting that the medication wouldn’t affect ie implantation and bleeding of the cervix caused by the progesterone.
It’s too hard to tell but 6days post is still very early to get a positive so it can definitely still happen for you. My clinic give an OTD of 15dp5dt but I got BFP starting form 8 days (n both successful and chemical). My successful pregnancy I had lots of bleeding and clots for the first 10 weeks whilst on a tonne of progesterone because I had a SCH so it’s just too hard to tell with ‘symptoms’ what the outcome might be. Wishing you all the luck in the world that this is the one for you 🤞🏽💕 xx
