Return of Regular Cycles after Contraceptive Injection

Hi, I'm currently on month 17 post my last contraceptive injection and I'm just seeing if anyone else has had a similar experience to me.

I still have yet to have a normal period and am suffering with heavy spotting and light bleeding every 2 weeks currently. I track my BBT, I've had bloods and swabs and both have come back normal.

I do try and track using ovulation tests, I tested this week to find clearblue displaying a high fertility result which is my first one yet, im on day 5 of high fertility but I'm also spotting brown blood quite heavily for the past 4 days so I don't see how I can be close to ovulating, I'm currently on day 16 from my last spotting episode

Waiting for my doctor to call to see what to do next

Anyone gone through something similar with the depo injection

Hi Hudson. Ouch! I have herd that i can take up to 2 years for a period to return to what is normal for you. You may need something to start you off. If you are trying to get pregnant and haven't already been refered to a specialist, ask your GP to do that for you. Good luck! Diane
