Testing cycles after miscarriage

I’ve been tracking my cycle following my miscarriage three weeks ago. I want to do a a natural FET after Christmas.

I’ve done opks all week and all negative. Today it looks like this, would you be classing this as positive yet if you were doing natural FET? Xx

Thanks, I’ll check next month and see whether the dates work out similar. I really want a natural FET I can’t bear taking any meds because I’m already a walking nut job lol I don’t need anything adding to the mix ;) xx

Aww yes a natural FET does sound much kinder on your body. I recently read a book called 'Taking charge of your fertility', found it really useful in terms of recognising signs of ovulation and tracking my cycle. Just thought I'd mention it in case of use. Good luck xx

Thank you I shall take a look, I’ve realised for me just before ovulation I feel something going on and probably for a good few days after. Xx

I would say so from what I've read but I'm no expert! Haven't tracked ovulation much myself.xx

Thank you - it will do. I’m surprised I have even ovulated after mc - at least as perfectly timed after all the stress I’ve been under. Something appears to be working for me anyway xx

Some people are super fertile after a miscarriage. But it's worth bearing in mind that cycles can be messed up so next month won't necessarily mirror this month, and next month will probably be slightly more indicative of a "normal" month now but it may still also take a few cycles to calm down. Good luck with the FET and trying before that x

Thank you, it’s all worth a shot isn’t it. A few ppl have had success naturally over the last week or so. If it doesn’t work hopefully the FET will xx

Yea, I wasn’t sure - usually it’s darker than the other line but if that looks ok I can count this as ovulation 1 xx

As a positive opk, ovulation will happen 12-24 hours later.. but yes xx

That’s definitely a positive. Glad your cycle seems to be coming back to normal. It gives you a sense of relief doesn’t it that your body can handle this. Hope you’re holding up ok xx

Thanks Snez84. I’m doing ok, I’ve accepted that it was not my body’s fault and it was ‘faulty’ embryos. Yes it’s good to know that my body didn’t need much help getting back to how it should be, I was really worried I’d be waiting months. So what a relief xx
