We had a failed IVF cycle in September/ October & since they my natural cycle has been quite different. Ie 25 days last month V a pretty consistent 28 days cycle . For this natural cycle I’m also testing with ovulation sticks & I’ve had my peak fertility today ( day 7 ) It never comes until day 14 but usually nearer day 17, so it’s at least a week early .
So two questions: Is it worth trying naturally this monthly ( there is a small about of stress that comes with that - just because of the robotics around having to do it at a certain time in the month ) or is there no hope given my messed up cycles??
Secondly we are thinking about doing another cycle again in January. If my cycles are not settled down by then should we wait until they have ?

I'd say go for it! I really regret deciding not to go for it on one month when I was still only 43 as I thought I would get pregnant again instantly, was nervous after my MMC and wanted to be able to enjoy my birthday first befoee trying again and again a couple of months later but I stupidly thought it was best to try and do IVF and PGTA testing the next month. Fast forward a few years and here I am aged 46 with 5 failed IVFs and a cancelled cycle and very little prospect that I will ever have a baby now. I know that what I did back then felt like the right choice at the time but with the benefit of hindsight I wish I had taken every opportunity!
hiya my cycles went all funny after failed ivf but the doctor used to say that she liked to see one period then you could start on the next one if you liked. We used the pill so we knew when the second period would come to get started xxx
