Anyone stimmed longer than 14 days?

So had my scan yday , on right ovary i have one at 16 quite a lot of 12/13s a one or 2 14, left side a varied amount of 10-13s so the consulatant is wanting me to continue ovaleap stims until friday same dose as they have shot up since last 2 scans (last injection tonight) and re scan tomorrow and hes expecting them to be at the correct size /near enough with EC provisionally booked now for Monday 2nd.

My question is if they are still stubborn buggers and havent grown rapidely with these two extra shots, will they continue me to stim longer? has anyone actually stimmed for longer than 14 days? Help or storys please. xxx

Hello. Yes, this happened to me. It happened twice. The first time I think i stimmed for 16 days and the second 15. X

I stimmed for 15 days. Had lots of follicles but at each scan they just wanted them to grow a little bit more. Ended up with 17 eggs, 16 mature and now I’m 24 weeks pregnant. I always viewed the extra stimming as a good thing. Thankfully I didn’t have any side affects from the meds so it didn’t bother me. Good luck! Hopefully the extra days’ will make those eggs perfect.

Yes, 17 days both times. But then I take forever to respond and suddenly a load come through and catch up with the one or a couple that were more willing from the start The last few days seem to make all the difference for me. Also I didn't have masses of follicles (<15 including all the way too small ones) so not much by way of side effects (apart from the bloating, which my body has now apparently adopted as a permanent state after 2 rounds and now FET!)

Hi, yes my best egg collection was at 16 days and I got 9 mature eggs out of 12. Much higher than my earlier collections. On one cycle one egg grew 6mm in 2 days! Good luck x

Hi JO. This happens unfortunately. Hopefully when you get rescanned there will be a difference, fingers crossed. Just your ovaries being a bit resisteant. Good luck! Diane

Yes, I've done 4 rounds so far and my egg collections have been on days: 15, 18, 21, 16. I got my daughter from the round when they collected eggs on day 21.

**Update**- So after stimming for 14 nights we were finally ready for EC, i had EC on 02/08/21 and they collected 7 eggs out of which at day 1 6 had fertilised and doing good and we are hopefully having a day 5 transfer on Saturday 7/08 xx

**update** at day we have ended up with 4 blastocyst1x transferred hatching blastocyst graded 5AA

3x 5AB blastocyst for storage

That's great news! I'm in a similar situation - stimming for 16 days due to slow growth. Now worried about the impact on lining for transfer - how was it for you? Considering a freeze all, but unsure at this point. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! x
