Stims day 14 update

Last few days I was trying not to lose hope about this cycle, not a great start and my follicles were super slow growing . I don’t ever get loads but you always hope by some miracle you defy the odds and the tweaks to your protocol will make a magical impact 🙈

I’ve been for my scan today ,(technically day 13 because I’ll stim this eve)

I have 6 follicles measuring approx the following :

11, 13, 15, 14, 16, 18 another at 8.5 but not counting that lazy follicle!!

I’m trying to be optimistic, I know it’s not amazing, but for me I’ve been told 5 eggs is about all I could realistically achieve.

I will continue stimming till Friday, have a scan in the morning . If ok, I will be going for egg retrieval on Monday . 🤞

Before I was worried they wouldn’t be big enough now I’m a little worried I’ll over stim and they’ll get too big! Friday will be day 16 stims .

I’m a professional worrier at this stage regardless of how the cycle is going 🙄🫣

Hey. I don't think you need to be too worried that you'll over stim within that time though I do understand the anxiety. You and I chatted last week as we were in similar situations. I would advise from my experience that your clinic are making sure your LH is kept in check. I dont think all clinics check it but if they do it would be good to monitor. Mine crept up in most recent cycle when it wasn't supposed to but I don't think that is common. So perhaps this is really not relevant for you. But in terms of follicle sizes I think another few days will be okay xx

Hi Skittles, thanks for advise. I’m having a blood test on Friday too so maybe that’s what they are checking, but I will mention it. Hope you’re ok xxx

Heya. I’m sorry this is so tough. But it doesn’t sound to me like you’re likely to over-stim, my follicles were similar sizes when we decided to give them a couple more days to grow before triggering …. wishing you the best of luck 🤞
