So i had my day 10 scan yesterday to see the growth of the follicles and they were at 12mm (largest) to 8mm, this is after been increased from 250iu Ovaleap to 262.5iu at day 5. I have PCOS so i get there going in cautiously so i dont over stim.
Im back tomorrow after 2 night on a higher dose again (they increased me yesterday to 275). I just have a feeling it hasnt been enough as i dont feel bloated or anything this time around.
Has anyone had a similar experience and yet still gone on to have egg collection? Would 2 nights at a slighty higher dose be enough?

Hi, I hope the higher dose works for you but I guess it’s good they ve been cautious, 48hrs can make all the difference. My last 2 cycles follicle growth for me was quite slow but within a few days had really changed drastically. They didn’t increase my dose as I’m on the max, so hopefully increasing yours will give you the little boost you need. Try and stay positive x
Thanks for the reply, hopefully its all i need, just hope if there not at the right size tomorrow theyll bring me back again or whether theyll stimm for 14 days xx
Hi JO. Sorry to hear this, but it happens. You still have room for improvement, so thaey may up your dose or just get you to carry on for a few extra days. Good luck! Diane
Yes, I had a day 6 scan and it looked good but I was not overly responding, so they made me wait till day 10 for the next scan thinking I’d be at egg collection this Friday maybe Monday.
I’m not joking those 4 days changed everything - there are lots of follicles, egg collection is tomorrow. I don’t know what’s going to happen next. I’m actually scared.
had a scan yesterday and were nearly there, there slow growers. so another 2 nights of stims and another scan friday with EC provisionally booked for Monday now. hopefully the next 2 days will give them the time they need to boost up and catch up to the one thats at 16 xx
