We are so close to our IUI cycle, I’m due on in 13 days and it feels like it’s taking forever. I know this wait isn’t as bad as the 2ww but I’m just so ready to get started now.

It also seems like everyone is announcing a new pregnancy, what gender they are having or birth announcements at the minute and although I’m not as jealous as I used to be I’m just ready for it to be our turn.

Is anyone else having their treatment in early August? I’m getting so impatient now.

I completely get the desperation to get going! So much waiting in fertility treatment... the actual treatment period is pretty short but so much lead-up time. The birth and pregnancy announcements never get easier 😕 but it sounds like you're dealing with it OK at the moment so we'll done. Wishing you lots of luck! Xx

Yeah the waiting is unbearable. We were meant to have treatment back in April but it got postponed to August. We’ve made it this far so only around two weeks to go. I am doing well with the pregnancy announcements so I feel proud of myself. Thank you 😊 xx

Hi S_Lauren. That's not too long to wait now. Just try and keep yourself busy until then, it's natural to get to hear of pregnancies and babies while you're waiting. Hopefully you will be telling others that your little one is on the way soon. Diane

Thank you Diane. I managed to finish painting the fences in the back garden today so that was one thing to keep me busy, just need to finish painting the decking now although I don’t think the weather is going to allow for that any time soon. Fingers crossed it will work straight away, I’m trying to remain hopeful and positive but realistic at the same time.
