Hi,
I’m 40 a new starting round 3 of ICSI.
I have an AMH of 16.5, but by husband (42) has low morphology of 2.5%.
We’ve had 2 miscarriages through ICSI, and two bfn’s.
Are there any success stories out there?
Love and baby dust. xx

Hi lovely
Sorry to hear about your struggles so far. 💔No success stories here yet but just curious if your husband has had a sperm DNA fragmentation test done. My husband had a normal semen analysis with the exception of low morphology (2%), but after a failed IVF cycle we did some more investigation and found out that he had very high DNA fragmentation.
High sperm DNA fragmentation can also be a factor if you've had multiple miscarriages, so it might just be worth exploring before embarking on this next cycle.
Best of luck. I'll be thinking of you xx
My partner's morphology was 0.5% last round and we had twins. We used ICSI. We also had MACS - didn't do fragmentation testing but apparently MACS helps select the best sperm.
What is macs?
It's a magnetic process that selects the best sperm to use for ICSI. I think it helps with fragmentation.
Hi Becatom. Sperm fragmentation testing has become very populart following failed cycles and early miscarriage. Might be worth a mention. Also, if not already tried, low dose soluble aspirin and/or heparain to help with a good blood flow tomthe womb lining, and hopefully prevent any clot formation. Pineapple core has a similar effect too. Good luck, and I shall be thinking of you. Diane
You're AMH isn't bad at all. Don't give up hope. You may want to consider a sperm donor if can't happen with your husband's sperm.
My husbands morphology was slightly low at 4, he was mid 50s when we started and had a dna fragmentation test done straight away.
We had two failed rounds of our own, my AMH was slightly higher then yours at I think 19.4 but we decided to do known egg donor, as at the age of 40/41 my eggs were clearly no good and finding that luck one, as the consultant put it may never of happened.
Our donor round we got pregnant with the first transfer I’m 19 weeks today
