Hi
I have had number of failed ivf cycles and miscarriage 😔, my clinic has tried almost everything and they are now saying have lintralip infusion. I have my egg collection Saturday.
Has anyone else had this and does it work?
Thank you x

I’ve not had an intralipid but I read a review paper about them the other day. Basically, they are unsure why they work, there’s not much good quality research investigating this, BUT the limited evidence they do have suggests they may be effective.
Here’s a link to the study in case you are a science nerd like me : scholar.google.com/citation...
The most interesting thing is that this paper was written by a team who were very much opposed to intralipids (I read an article where one of the authors was like “you may as well have a cream cake”) so it’s interesting to see how the research is changing practitioners opinions on this.
Hi Noor. Your specialist will give you good advice I'm sure. Unfortunately Intralip is not something that the HFEA endorse. See what your clinic advises. Diane
I am 18 weeks after my 6th ivf attempt, my 2 previous cycles I had intralipids, both bfn’s, this last one I had without which was successful 🤷♀️ x
I've used intralipids a few times and I had 2 positives but more negatives. In our last transfer I didnt bother and stuck with using steriods and had an ERA biopsy. I believe it was the ERA that helped us to have a successful transfer. Might be worth looking into for future.xx
Thank you for your reply what's an ERA?X
