I’m 10dpet, have not go period, due to test on 28 June.
Transferred a grade 4BC and 3CC. R this really poor quality? The embryologist on that day said it’s good without disclosing grades. Asked for grading , received it post transfer, googled and charts show is poor quality. Doc said it’s still possible to get pregnant with these. Any success stories?
Also,I’m on progesterone tablets, does this mean that my period will be delayed until I stop taking the tablets. So cannot rely on the fact period has been delayed by three days. I have a regular cycle?
It’s our second cycle, hoping for the best. I had cramps etc but not sure if it’s all to do with the hormones/tablets.
Thanks all.

My best friend is 20 weeks pregnant with a 3CC graded embryo, right now. It was her worst graded embryo that stuck. I asked my FS and he said embryo grading is just a beauty contest. He ignores the grades.
Oh no, that is so not true. Cs implant all the time. It is so hard to judge, each grading assessment by an embryologist is subjective and their personal opinion.
Yes, I am doing IVF. I have been on and off this train for years! I have a complicated history because I’m a carrier of a genetic disorder that I couldn’t pass on, then I went through premature menopause!
Right now I’m doing a mock cycle before FET with a donor embryo. I’ve had 2 failed embryo transfers from a fresh donor cycle previously. Before that, 7-5 years ago now, I went through 6 of my own stim cycles to see if I could save any of my own eggs, but it was too late. I had 1 good egg retrieved from all of that.
Anyway - don’t worry about what your friends say. It’s so easy to be dismissive when you have recently been hurt with an IVF failure.
It really has quite little to do with the ‘grading’. The differences between A, B and C are really very minimal. Expansion of 3 and 4 is also really good. 4 is the best, apparently. You are in with just as much chance as someone who had a 4AA.
Wishing you the best of luck and crossing all my fingers and toes for you. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼
Thank you Lancal you are amazing!😘 Puts me at ease a little.
It’s such a tough process to go through, nothing is certain. Resilience is key.
Only certainty so far is my weight gain n cravings. I’ve just given in to them but still ensuring a healthy selection when not consumed by the food monster 😅.
All the best to you too.🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 Wishing you success and spreading baby dust 🥰☺️🐣. I can only imagine how the journey has been for you. Sending you all the strength and positive vibes.
Oh - and regarding the progesterone - it should stop your period while you are taking it, if you are taking a high enough dose. When you stop, you will get a withdrawal bleed. Some women need a higher dose than others and can get breakthrough bleeding when not taking enough progesterone. How many days was your frozen embryo? Was it a 5 day blastocyst? It seems like a long time you have to wait to test.
