May be worth getting checked for a UTI, just as a precaution. I had this once after transfer, thought it might be a symptom, did get a BFP but later found that I had a UTI. On my second BFP, I didn’t get the same symptom.
I also had a raised temperature, but as it was hot, like it is at the moment, I didn’t realise.
Good luck for test day, try to hold off on testing early if you can ☺️ xx
Thank you hun, I’m going to drink loads today and if it’s like it again in the morning I’ll see if I can be tested for UTI, if it is a UTI, do you if this would affect anything if I was pregnant?
As you are in the TWW, if you did have a UTI they would likely treat it with antibiotics that are safe to take whilst pregnant. It would be best to get tested to rule it out.
My second BFP is now a 16 month old, I am very lucky ☺️ xx
Could you maybe have a UTI? The smell is not a sign of pregnancy either way, good or bad, alas. Good idea to go get a urine test done if you can. I had a UTI when I got my BFP and was prescribed a pregnancy-safe antibiotic. If you're taking progesterone pessaries, they can cause UTI.
Yes!! Pee smelling can definitely be a symptom of pregnancy. Also you tested way too early so I wouldn’t count yourself out at all. I had one failed transfer and one successful one and had way more “pregnancy” symptoms with the failed one. In hindsight, there were two significant differences though. The first is that I was exhausted a few mornings with the successful one (I was exhausted in the afternoon/evening with both), and my pee smelled for one day only around the same time as yours! I found in a blog somewhere that this could be a sign and for me it was right! Also still have the smell on and off and I’m just starting my second trimester. Sending you good vibes! Good luck!!
