5dp5dt waiting and stressed

Ah ladies just need some comfort is all. The waiting is excruciating especially as I’m on lock down and can’t leave the house unless I have a signed paper where I am going. Stuck inside and days don’t seem to pass. As someone who has experienced 6 miscarriages I am simply terrified. No symptoms apart from some vague cramping here and there.....

Oh pet, try to distract yourself as best you can . Read, do mindfulness etc anything to keep your head busy. I found from day 5 hard. Just count it down and keep busy 😘🙏🏻💐👌🏻

i am doing meditation every day for 15' with this coach that is helping somewhat. I am just so nervous. I have decided to do a home test but i dont know when HCG would show up do you? I would rather do a test and then go in to clinic as I do not want to go for no reason and do a blood test with CV going on!!

Hi Corchi, All in the same boat but I find doing something with my hands helps to pass the time.

Painting, clay, macrame, crocheting?

Stred some old clothes and make something new. Pinterest is the best for a wondering mind... good luck.

i agree i love pinterest, thank you for your ideas. I am fortunate to have a little nugget who is 2 1/2 so i do some crafts with him as we are stuck in the house xxx

Hey Corchi,

I feel you! I’m 8dp5dt and I’ve felt so stressed with this corona situation & then being at home for the whole 2ww. I live alone, am working from home too so the days are terribly long.

My test day is tomorrow via bloods but I’m not going as means travelling etc so having to hold out a couple more days to test at home.

I have found doing a puzzle has relaxed me. Have you any activities you can do to focus on and pass time?

Try not to worry about symptoms- I have been checking this forum to see what others have had and it varies so much that you just can’t tell if it’s meds anyway.

Sending you lots of luck and I’m here if you want to chat too as that’ll help pass the time ☺️xxx

Thank you so much for your advice CLD!!!! I might take you up on the chat! It’s so hard being stuck in doors with only this to think about however I shouldn’t complain as I have a small nugget who is 2 ½ who keeps me somewhat occupied all day but my husband I want to kill at the moment from being stuck indoors so long!!!!! Crazy idea but would you ever consider getting a pet?? I’m sure need so many saving right now with this virus :-(

You’re welcome!

Hahaha 😂 so many people are saying that about their husbands, I think I’m better off 🙊

I have actually considered getting a pet but as I’m doing this journey alone it would be too much for me if it’s successful and once I’m back at work it wouldn’t be fair so while I have work to do I’m really trying to get in to that 😴🤣

I do get out for a walk daily, just local to me which helps but nowhere near as active as I usually am. So hard isn’t it the 2ww. It’s good to have a few plans & rest too but this is something else!

Happy to give you my number if you do want to chat though. You’re not alone 😘xxx

That’s good ☺️I go for a walk and listen to the ‘Shagged, Married, Annoyed’ podcast, it does make me laugh 🤭 Maybe try it? Xxxx

Hi Corchi,

Just wanted to say, you’re doing great so far, Hang in there! Must be impossible not to analyse everything given the lockdown situation but none of it means anything. No symptoms can be positive, lots of symptoms can be negative! And vice versa. You’ve got this 💪🏻

When is your OTD?x

Corchi profile image
Corchi in reply toKiboXX

Thanks kibo ♥️ I’m trying - anxiety levels are high!! Then I feel guilty that something bad might happen because of stress!! OTD is 30/3 with a blood test and trying not to test till then 😩

Hi Corchi. The 2ww is not known for it's breeziness and joy, unfortunately. Sorry, you're going through this. Right there with you! The first few days last week I was actually doing okay, but now, I'm like why am I still in the house doing nothing? When is test day? When is test day? Is it today? It's not today! Really trying to keep myself occupied and busy as that seems to be the only way to survive until test day. xx

Corchi profile image
Corchi in reply tottcemmie

YEs, all we can do is be patient and keep busy whatever that means for each of us. <3

Good luck to you on your OTD. Sending you so much love and virtual hugs

It is really hard being stuck in the house on the 2ww! Our minds go into overdrive when we cant stay amused! Can you get into a box set on tv, do some cooking/baking/painting with your little one? Tidy some cupboards out, just general stuff that isnt too strenuous! Hang on in there, wont be long till test day!!xx

Corchi profile image
Corchi in reply toCinderella5

I am I am!!! I have cleaned the whole house and organized and baked! Just have to be patient. I really hope I dont sound like i am whining. I know i am blessed but i am terrified of OTD day from years of miscarriages and having bad news. PTS i think

Cinderella5 profile image
Cinderella5 in reply toCorchi

Urrgghh it's hard being in the 2ww without being locked up so no you dont sound like you're whinning! Just take one day at a time, dont think too far ahead!! I wishing you heaps of luck!xx
