I'm not sure what to expect. Had my retrieval 4/26 but developed OHSS and was told to wait until my second cycle for transfer. I got the expected cycle in May. I should've started June 3. I'm now 10 days late, negative pregnancy test so it's not that. Is this something that happens often? How long should I keep waiting for my cycle to start (I'm also very irregular). They had me on BC these 2 months and nothing. Is Provera the next option or is that not recommended? Thanks for any advice!! 🙏

Is it normal for your cycle to be off after retrieval?
I haven't had experience of OHSS but I don't think it's so unusual for cycles to be waaay off after all these drugs and everything our poor bodies go through. Hoping you've started by now and can soon get going again 🙏 xx
Hi Madnic222, yes this is extremely common. I had back to back cycles of egg retrieval with no transfer and after the initial withdrawal bleed, my second period was always delayed.
This is also quite a common topic on this forum and some ladies have had to have medical intervention to induce a bleed after going days and even weeks without AF. Personally, I think the longest I was ever late was a week. The second time, I did all I could to encourage AF to come so was late for a few days only.
I had the same thing, I did have mild OHSS, my first period after EC was 26 days by then my next was 34, (normally I am 29 days) I have just started my FET cycle and went for a scan yesterday which showed my lining had come away normally and is at a good stage to start the FET.
I know how long and stressful it is just waiting for the period to start the FET, perhaps you can call your clinic to see if they advise any meds to bring it on.
