Natural Cycle after Egg Retrieval

Hello,

Just after some advice really...

I had my egg retrieval in August, after it my period came a week early (I’m normally a straight every 28 days) ... the clinic said not to worry as it can happen with all the hormones... we were unable to do a fresh transfer as I am high risk of OHSS. We are desperately waiting for my next natural cycle as then we can look at doing a FET. The problem is this one is ‘late’. If my last period hadn’t been early then I wouldn’t be due for another week but I assumed that because my last one was early this one would just follow... I’m not even sure it matters as long as it arrives?? Am I over thinking this or should I be concerned given that I am normally so regular...

Hey lovely, hope your egg collection went well.

I was the same as you, got my period about 2 weeks after but my period after that was really late, made my cycle about 45 days in the end - it is completely normal for the 2nd one after collection to be late so don’t worry and I hope it comes soon for you! Good luck with your transfer xxx

Ours was 45 days... no one prepares you for this. I was normal is as normal does, (sorry to Forest Gump there) then after EC it was insane. I also suffered OHSS

Hi lovely, I got my period 1 week after EC then the next one was 35 days (usually 28 too) all pretty normal as your body has had all sorts to deal with xx
