6 weeks - bleeding - worried

I have spent hours and hours reading on this forum, but new to posting. Am on my 5th ivf cycle FET, (previously 3 bfn and 1 chemical just after bfp) and got a bfp. Was so cautiously happy, however as I got through week 5 with only tiredness and slightly sore/swollen boobs as symptoms, I was allowing myself to believe / hope. Then as I got to week 6 my symptoms went away, and I started spotting and then bleeding. It was a mix of dark red, brown and at times with lumps. I am so worried. It started on Friday, got to be a lot more yesterday and today is a lot less. I have not been able to get in touch with the clinic yet, but I know they previously said they only scan in week 7. I have read so many positive outcomes here, but also not so good. I keep going from thinking positive to thinking the worst. I suppose there is not much I can do, but just horrendous when I have lost the tiny symptoms of pregnancy I had.

Sorry this is happening to you. I had a missed MC at 5 and 1/2 weeks but my clinic did HCG monitoring and early scans, so they alerted me to the upcoming bleeding which finally came just around 7 weeks. Hopefully in your case, it's something else and you get good news at the first ultrasound. Not knowing is the worst, so I imagine the wait will be torture.

First of all it is very good that your bleeding didn't get heavier than yesterday. Second of all it can go either way good or bad and that is the scarry bit. Third of all I was also spotting for over 2 weeks, it started very early from day 5 after transfer because I didn't had enough progesterone, you need to check your progesterone as a matter of urgency. So there is always a hope as I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins 🥰. Congratulations on your BFP, stat positive and don't ever lose your hope (you are not allowed to 😘)
