Menopur Question - does it come smaller than 1200ui

Hiya, I'm just wondering if any of you have gotten menopur in a smaller quantity than 1200ui please? I have had this size twice now and only used a third of it this time. It's not cheap and will have to throw the unused stuff (about £275 worth) which seems such a waste. I’m just wondering if anyone else has had it in a smaller size? If so, what size and (if you don't mind sharing) how much did it cost you? Thanks in advance! x

Hey! I had a smaller dose on my last cycle I think it was 600ui but I was on NHS so I couldn’t tell you the cost but yeah they definitely do a smaller size x

Yes it comes in 600 too. About £150 at our clinic.

As well as the 600ius, it also comes in 75iu vials. So if your dose is 75ius, it is perfect. The only downside is that you have to mix the 75iu vials every time you need it.

I know what you mean about the cost of the IVF meds. I have an unused box of Gonal F which I no longer need but I am just looking at it and seeing £250 wasted 😒

Thanks for your reply. Yeh it’s rubbish isn’t it?! I’ve been so good with money recently and sold lots on eBay so it grates to waste something so expensive! 🤷‍♀️

At least now I know I can ask for a smaller quantity if I need some again in the future 🙂 x
