Pupo anyone been successful after a day 2 transfer

โ€ข18 Replies

So yesterday I had a day 2 transfer of one 2 cell embryo average quality and one 3 cell embryo good quality. I feel completely deflated and not positive about this cycle. we only had 3 eggs fertilised out of 9. By yesterday only had the above 2 left so hence day 2 transfer they wanted them back where they belong. The other had not developed at all but they said they would watch for another 24hours. They called this morning and that is now 7 cells so they will continue to watch till sat.

I am trying to snap myself out of it maybe some positive stories may help. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hey honey, I know you're having a hard time. I have seen a lady or 2 with a 2 day transfer have success, definitely but it's not very common to transfer at that stage so very hard to comment on outcomes! I've been here for way too long but you just never know your luck and I do think a lot of this is luck! I'm really hoping you're one of the lucky ones!! It's so hard to pick yourself up after multiple rounds.....Ive got the badge for that one!! Thinking of you & wishing you so much luck!!๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป๐Ÿคž๐Ÿปxxx

Thank you so much how are things going with you? I saw your previous message about de. Thatโ€™s is definitely something we are considering we paid in for two rounds so if this doesnโ€™t work we will do one last round before moving on.its just such a horrible journey xx

I'm doing ok thanks. We're not allowed to do much to let my body recover from the miscarriage so trying my best to be patient. It really is a horrible journey, one step at a time lovely!xx

Hi Katrina, our friends had a day 2 transfer. They collected 3 eggs and on day 2 only one was looking strong enough so it was transferred and they are now a few months pregnant! It was their first round too which is amazing. It can happen so hang on in there. Wishing you lots of luck xxx

You have a chance, your in the race dont you worry. I had a day 2 transfer and it worked for me first time. Dont get too caught up on the grades as I've seen 5AA blastocyst and the result was -ve. I would say avoid hot baths though and rest, not too much tho. Fingers crossed for you. When do you test??xx

My friend only had one embryo so it was transferred at day 2 and she now has a little girl. She was like u felt deflated, it was her 4th transfer said she came home and ate bad and drank coffee, the rest of her cycles she had been really strict. U just never know, stay positive xx

My 8 year old DEICSI was a Day 2 transfer and only 2 cells, so it definitely can have a positive result. it was our 2nd DE cycle. The best place is snuggled up in you. I did a lot of visualisation using a CD. Good luck, there are lots of babies born following 2 day transfers. xx
