I have seen in various posts that after a BFP, some of you test regularly your HCG to check that the pregnancy is developing as it should and I think you get the results straight away?
Where to you have these blood tests? I have checked medichecks and it says it's a 2 day wait

This is the 1st cycle that I'm doing abroad so no testing with the clinic, although to be honest for my previous 5 cycles the UK clinic didn't offer any blood tests either! It was hpt and the viability scan. But after my miscarriage at 12 wks, if I'm lucky and get a positive now I'd want to do bloods regularly to check if everything is going ok or other8to be able to prepare myself...
I completely understand that, I’m in Cambridge so not far from you and we had a similar struggle with our original clinic, maybe even the same one! We moved to a London clinic and they will actually check bloods if we ask. It’s so frustrating isn’t it!
Hmmm I'm not much help down that area. However you could try some of your local fertility units and ask if they'll do a private blood for you? Nuffield clinic and ultrasound direct do bloods too, you could try them. My local NHS fertility clinic does private bloods so you could look at that too! Good luck.xx
Hi there, I know this post is dated a while ago, but wondered if you managed to find a clinic to perform a more or less instant blood analysis to check hcg levels?? I’m currently 5 weeks pregnant and have been getting brown and now watery pink discharge, so I’m feeling extremely anxious xx
Hi, firstly- congratulations! I don’t think I did, I had IVF and various tests after at Borne clinic where they confirmed my pregnancy. I had implantation bleeding around 5-7 weeks, so hopefully this is that. Could you contact your early pregnancy unit? Maybe They could do an early ultrasound? It’s normally done around 7-8 weeks.
Hi Nix321 bless you, thanks so much for your reply. I actually went abroad for my ivf, so trying to find resources is hard, and seems to be limited in MK. I have found Medichecks, but was hoping for something a bit quicker xx
Thanks for your reassurance too, it’s such a worry especially since the symptoms can be positive or negative. It’s does help knowing you had this around the same time. Thanks again for replying, it really does help…much appreciated and much love xx

My ivf clinic is in Spain, they asked me to have my hcg checked (I’m in U.K.) I had to ring quite a few private ivf clinics to find one that did same day hcg testing and results, I found one an hr from my home.
Hi Gem5, I know it has been a while of your post and hopefully you had your baby by now. I am still trying and have my treatment in Spain as well. I am in Cambridge and looking for a place to do blood test and have quick results. Please could you share the name of the place you went for this. I don't think this needs to be private since we are already in a platform where we are looking for useful info, so maybe this is also beneficial for other people. thank you very much for your help.
My clinic, based in Greece, send me to The Doctor Lab in Wimpole street. I think you need a referral to get it done. They send results in a few hours to the clinic and the clinic tell me. How far along are you?
I absolutely love them. I was with a previous clinic nearer me for three rounds, always ended up doing early transfers because our embryos struggled and our fertilisation rates weren’t the greatest. We moved to IVI for our fourth and they have been amazing, same doctor from my initial app did my egg collection, transfer, phoned me with my results. It’s been so personal, all the negativity I had from previous experiences is gone. We got three embryos in the freezer on our first round with them and I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant from the first transfer of those 💕
