After my BFP I was called into my clinic for a scan when I would of been 7 weeks. During the scan they could see the York sac but said it was too early and I should come back next week.
Yesterday I went for a second scan (8wks) they could see I flicker of a heartbeat but said I was measuring around 4kws 6days. They kept asking if I had my dates right. (5day fresh transfer 8th March) which I believe to be 8 weeks??
They spoke of none viable pregnancy and warned me this was a possibility but to come back again next week for another scan.
Has anyone experienced anything like this or can even help me to understand what’s going on?

So sorry to hear you're dealing with this - I had a similar situation with a 7 week scan where there was a heartbeat but the foetus was measuring a week too small. I was told it seemed like it wasn't developing normally and probably had some kind of chromosome problem, and I ended up having a miscarriage at 8 weeks. It's so difficult but you may need to be prepared for the possibility things may not work out. Please know that whether the pregnancy does or doesn't work out isn't because of anything you do or don't do - it's just about whether your embryo has the right ingredients to make a healthy baby or not. I just looked back at your posts and saw you had pregnancy tests not turning positive until relatively late and with very faint lines at first - this also happened to me and looking back, it was an early sign the pregnancy wasn't developing quite normally and something was a little wrong.
Hi, yeah I had thought of this, I didn’t get a positive till quite late on. I had wondered if this was a bad sign or is that possibly why baby is measuring smaller. At this point I do feel I am grasping at straws! 🥲
