Just wondering if anyone’s had any experience of their clinic not getting back to them? We’ve been waiting for a fet after I had ohss in February. We were told we could try again in 6 weeks (now been 8) after my second period. I’ve tried contacting via email, left voicemails and messages with reception who have said they will chase it up over the last 4 weeks. I spoke to a nurse nearly 4 weeks ago who said she would get back to me as I don’t get my periods naturally and haven’t had one yet- she actually said in that conversation about not seeing why we couldn’t get the treatment going at the start of April which just filled us with false hope. We weren’t really expecting this leading up to the transfer and really don’t know what to do next, any advice would be really appreciated x

Hi Els, Are you with the NHS or a Private clinic? If it was me I would turn up at their door and demand to speak to someone! This is really poor treatment. x
Thanks for your reply - We are Nhs it’s our first cycle - I was considering that as our next move so I’m glad you said that! It’s the weirdest thing, when I had the egg collection done and prior to that the communication was same day response and now nothing x
Is there anywhere you can complain more officially? I had similar issues where I wasn’t getting the communication I should have been and nurses didn’t get back to me, and so I ended up complaining officially to the clinic director who was very apologetic. I’m yet to see if this will make a difference as I’m also waiting for AF for FET but I feel that it will. Good luck- it’s a stressful enough thing to go through without people not getting back to you x
Also one thing to say, my clinic were useless on the phone, could never get through and never phoned me back. But they were fantastic on email. Getting back to me within a couple of hours each time. So maybe try email?
