Hi Ladies

After several unsuccessful cycles in France, we are now considering moving our affairs abroad to another European country. Our experience in France so far has been rather negative, low level of information, service, many governmental restrictions etc.

I have heard Spain is amongst one of the top countries worldwide when it comes to IVF, but I am sure other countries can follow through as well.

I would be very happy to hear if anyone has good experiences in Spain or other countries.

We look for a clinic with following facilities:

- service, regular guidance, call backs, being proactive.

- potential to transfer more than 1 embryo per cycle

- genetic testing

- donor eggs

So far I have been looking at IVF Spain.

Thank you very much for your guidance and experiences.

I had bad experience in France too (you can check my details for the hopeless experience in France!) We managed to have our son within the first try in UK!

Thank you for your reply. Would you mind sharing your clinic in UK? I just read you have high NK cells. I want to be tested for this too, as I have a few autoimmune illnesses. Did they medicate you during for this? I am really loosing hope in France, got 10 eggs last year, this year only 6 eggs and 2 blasts. My AMH also came back quite lower this time

Hi, I am Spanish and I was advised to do ICSI while living in the UK. I am doing the treatment in Spain and so far I can say in Spain are much more transparent and informative. For instance in Spain they advised to take supplements, and in the UK they only told us to take folic acid for me and nuts for my boyfriend. Also, in Spain they did more in detail blood tests and they explained the results to us, in the UK they just told me I was fine (I am not according to my latest results) and my boyfriend sperm wasn't good enough. In terms of embryos they advised not to implant more than one, but they will put two if you really want. Three embryos is the maximum legally. I hope this helps

Hi there, could you also DM be the clinic in Spain you are using. Many thanks

Hi Sancor, I can recommend a clinic in Ireland if you like. I'm guessing the Spanish clinics are going to be a bit cheaper though because I know some people from here go there for cost reasons. I found my clinic good for all the reasons you listed above so if you want a back up, let me know!

Feel free to pm me, we used a clinic in Alicante as we had to use donor eggs. Can’t fault the support provided, but we needed a uk clinic to support our scans here (before and after transfer) but I found them very informative and happy to answer any questions we had xx

Hello! While I am also searching for a fertility clinic, I feel I have narrowed things down. Take a look at the GCR . org website and check out the top rated fertility clinics and maybe start there? Seems like the best clinics are found in Spain, Cyprus and Greece! Hope this helps a little. xx

Hello Marisa,

Thanks for your sharing, may I have the overseas ivf clinic name(s) that you would recommend please? Had two failed cycles in Uk, wanna try abroad for financial reasons and also hopefully a more professional clinic.
