Hcg levels going up - but not doubling

Hi, I am 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I have had two scans and today’s showed two sacks and yolks, one with a clear heartbeat. My hcg levels have been doubling every 48 hours easily before now, but in the last 2 days they have only gone up by 25%.

Any personal experiences with something similar? The clinic says that scans are the only way of knowing what’s going on now and not to worry... but of course I am!

I thought once you reach certain stage your hcg no longer doubles? I also did my first scan yesterday i am 6 weeks 6 days. I am also pregnant with twins. Both heart beat was good and measurment was also good. One measure 6 weeks 6 days and the other 6 weeks and 7 days. I think you will be fine , hcg stop double after a while instead it only increases.

Clinic is correct. Scans are the important data now, don’t worry on the HCG.

Looks likes you have one healthy baby, yay, and maybe 2!

At 6+2 I had two very definite heartbeats with my twins so it sounds like possibly the other one is a bit out of sync/progressing slower? In which case your hcg numbers won’t double

Yes. I have another scan on Wednesday so I’ll see whether the other one has caught up! Thanks for you reply.
