Menstruation after 5 days of egg retrival in FET

Hi ladies, i am seeking some advice and experiences. I had my egg retrival 5 days back. Doctors said mine will be FET, so no medications after egg retrival. After 5 days, in a morning i woke up with menstuation bleeding. Is this normal?. I was expecting periods after 13 to 14 days. Thanks.

I had the same but had OHSS, I was a told not to worry that it wasn’t a period and it’s normal to happen... I then had my actual cycle later that month....

Oh, ok. How long this unexpected bleed stayed on your case? 2-3 days? And this early bleed was like menstrual type, right?

I think it was about 5 or so days, then natural cycle that month too. The next month I didn’t bleed, and next(March) have done and have had FET 7 days ago...

Yes that’s your withdrawal bleed. I had mine 6 days later. My period then followed 40 dayslater (about 10 days longer than usual) xxx

Hi there! I had exactly this. I had to freeze all because of OHSS. Had a bleed 5 days after egg collection, which I was so surprised about. We started a natural FET on that bleed and got pregnant. X

This is exactly what happened to me. Had OHSS, had a bleed 6 days later, phoned clinic and they said fine to do a natural FET on that bleed, i am now 35 weeks pregnant. I did question the clinic as to whether i should wait a month for the next period but they said no, obvs they were right! Xx

Did you also get your period at your regular cycle then?

My period was never regular, so for my own regular it was not too bad. It came 43rd day
