5 weeks 2 days episode of red blood when wipe with small clots is it over? 😢

Hi ladies

So I was thrilled when on the 8th March I got my Bfp after FET transfer . Bloods were more than doubling at my my last wading on 17th March they were 3200. Last night without any pain I had bright red blood with small clots when I wiped only and that was it boobs have felt less sore this morning I would be 5 weeks 3 days . I am terrified this is the end has anyone had something similar seeing bright red blood and go on to give birth? Thanks praying here trying to get to EPU today or tomorrow 🙏🏻

I'm so sorry you are going through this. I am also experiencing the same- I'm 7 weeks. I had it with my 21 month old daughter Francesca my daughter Amelia ( who sadly died at 20 weeks pregnant) I'm complete nervous wreck. I phoned 111 my local EpU shut on weekend they only interested in if I'm bleeding heavily and in pain. I've not slept much my head is mashed . I have had success with this type of spotting so it's definitely not over. It's bloody awful I hope it eases and you can get seen I hope your local epu is more flexible than mine! My GP should be organising a scan tomorrow as unit was shut when he rang 😞 ( I'm hoping soon) Rest as much as possible heck get signed off if you need do. Put yourself first Xx

Thank you for your kind words, and i am so sorry for your loss of your 2nd daughter i can't begin to imagine how that felt so late in the pregnancy! I have read about subchorinc haematomas are common in IVF i had one with my son at 7 weeks who is now 20 months. I bleed and gushed blood when going to toilet i thought it was start of 'M' raced to a private scan that night 15 minutes before they closed and all was ok, heart still beating etc. It lasted on and off for several more weeks. Hope your GP has managed to book you in EPU, i was incredibly lucky i spoke to gynae on sunday and the lady there managed to squeeze me in tomorrow morning very thankful but at same time so nervous! I am just shy of 6 weeks so prepared i won't see a heartbeat but its a start. Wishing you the best also xx

Hi Jess1981, how’s your bleeding going have you had any more? I’m still intermittently passing blood and small clots. I’ve another scan privately today 🙏🏻

Well my private scan scan on Tuesday revealed no sac. I had an assessment at EPU - inconclusive. Again no sac was seen. But cervix is closed. I haven't miscarried yet- I still could. They can't see a ectopic pregnancy but can't rule it out. I must've had a positive urine test as I had to do HCG blood tests- one yesterday and one tomorrow. It could be my dates are slightly out. I did ovulate later that cycle. Basically I have no idea! The bleeding had stopped but started again when I had transvaginal scans and examination. My uterus lining is thin so that isn't good. None of it makes sense. How are things your end?

I had some blood at about 5 weeks, it can be very common. I am now 18 weeks so I can't comment on getting to giving birth. do you have your early scan hooked in? X x

Thank you and congrats. Yes tomorrow morning thank goodness. I will only be just shy of 6 weeks though so won't see much but at least may see if any where any bleeding is coming from. I have one little boy from my first cycle 2 years ago just wanted to give him a sibling Congrats on your successful pregnancy out of the first trimester and well into 2nd now xx

Ii was in between bright red and brown with some small clots, how did your scan go, they will probably measure you as being about two weeks further along due to the way they measure, hope it went well x x

Hi Bernie can I ask how many days you bled for was it continuous over a number of days? ... this will be my 6th day! 😞 Not continually all day long just mainly through the night when I pee

Hi Beenie150781, I booked in for a a private scan as there is a clinic just the next road from my house I was getting into a mentally stressful state from still awakening at night and seeing blood every time I peed! Anyway baba is fine good heart rate, yolk sac seen all fine but the bleed has been identified finally! It’s a subchiornic haematoma and was 3.5cm and surrounding sac! Also was told there has been a bleed on my left ovary ( I have 2 endometriomas) wasn’t sure if related to that. Anyway been advised to rest when I can lots of water and hopefully it starts to regress in a couple of weeks! Fertility clinic scan 31st thanks for asking x

Great news that the baby is ok and almost some closure as to why you have been bleeding and what to do about it, even though blood is not a good thing at least you can deal with it and was right to get it checked out, always follow your instincts, you know your body better than anyone, good luck X x

Just a little update - had scan and embryo has a heartbeat! measuring 1 day ahead. So relieved. another step forward in the right direction. Thank you for your replies x

Aw that's brilliant new congratulations i have another scan on Friday ill be 6 weeks an 5 days so im praying i see a little heartbeat. I went at 5 weeks 6 days an was just a yok sak so im praying on friday i see a likle flicker ❤️

Hi Chelsea289 so I went for a private scan and they have identified my bleeding now - it’s called a sub chorionic haematoma 🙁 It’s a close to the gestational sac. It’s medium sized 3.5cm and I’m 6 weeks just. Explains all the bleeding been advised to rest whenever I can and lots of water! On the plus heartbeat still there good bpm and yolk sac seen too. Just praying the bleeding settles and the SCH reabsorbs. Good luck with your little baba on Friday 💖☺️X

Hi Sunset, I’m nearly at 5 weeks and had some bleeding and small clots yesterday which has made me worried sick. Reading your post has helped me calm down a little so thank you! Having to wait till next Friday for my scan...more waiting! 😩☹️☹️☹️
