5 weeks and 2 days pregnant heavy bleeding with clots

I think it's all over for me this time round. 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant I'm bleeding heavily with clots. Panity Liner needed to be changed for a pad as it was soaking.

Oh my love I’m so sorry you poor thing. I been there myself last year lost a pregnancy at 4.5 weeks.

You must contact your clinic or GP ASAP. If you are soaking a pad every hour or so go to A & E ASAP that was the advice I was given by early pregnancy unit. Women can have big bleeds and be okay it isn’t always a sign of miscarriage ; will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you that you are one of the lucky ones ❤️❤️❤️ xoxo

Thank you Jess1981 for replying. I called the clinic and went and saw the GP on Friday when it happened. It's not heavy bleeding anymore. Early pregnancy scan unit said they can't scan me until 7 weeks. I'm going in for my 1st scan next week when it will be 6 weeks and 2 days let's just hope everything works out. Just feel like it's all over .... this is worse than the 2ww. Reading things on here keeps me going xxxx Thank you

I’m so sorry to read this. I would get to A&E if possible, just to be checked over.

Thank you Suzannah1985 I saw the GP on Friday when it happened and called the clinic. Just have to be patient and wait till Friday when I was due for my first scan. This is as bad as the 2ww or worse! You lovely people keep me sane!

This is what I’m going through today also, I’m 5w3d and absolutely terrified. Waiting to hear back from my clinic, but think I’m going in tomorrow so they can test my HCG levels. Too early to scan I think.

I asked my GP regarding doing a blood test but he said I should just wait till they do the scan. Would rather just know so I can move on. Wish you all the best and fingers crossed it's going to be ok for the both of us xxx Thank you for sharing as well

Hi, the clinic said to ask my GP about the blood test. But he just said I should wait until Friday 13th July when I have the scan.

The clinic said they were trying to get me in for an early scan but couldn't as they were fully booked. Looks like I just have to wait not long now.

Hello ladies I’m currently 5 weeks and 3 days post FET my first cycle. Yesterday I had a heavy red bleed passing clots and cramping. I’ve expected the worst. I rang the clinic who told me not to worry and that it’s too early to do anything . The bleeding stopped after sn hour but was heavy. I was wondering if anyone has experianced the same thing? Xxx
