My wife had her AMH results back today and they have dropped from 24 from last year to 20.6, they still seem like a good number so feeling positive.
Anyone else had similar AMH levels and what was your outcome?
Last year she was taking:
-200iu gonal f.
-fryemadel 0.25 with lead follicle
-busereline 0.5 trigger
(We retrieved 21 eggs last year but we did the egg sharing program so donated half)
This year we aren't donating any, to give ourselves the best possible outcome.
Looking to reduce the amount of gonal f to 150iu
How much gonal f have you ladies taken for your egg collection ? As the last cycle it seems she was overstimulated which may have affected the quality of her eggs
Hoping the second cycle works for us 🤞

AMH >20 is a very good number - I'm 32 and have much lower AMH 11.
For my first cycle in February, I was on Bemfola (biosimilar Gonal-f alternative) 150IU from day 2 + Cetrotide from day 7 + Buserelin 1ml trigger on day 10. Out of 5 eggs collected, 4 fertilised and 2 embryos frozen, so I think the mild stimulation worked in favour of egg quality over quantity.
My wife had her AMH level checked at the same time and it was ~40 (she has PCO) - although we're not planning her turn until early 2022, we were recommended that she would start with Bemfola 125IU to avoid over-stimulation.
If your wife has a good level of AMH & not egg sharing this time, I'd imagine that you'd still get a good amount of good quality eggs with reduced stimulation. Have you consulted your clinic?
Hope this helps! Best of luck for your second cycle 🍀
Sounds a great reading! My reading was 15 and from that I got 20 eggs retrieved in one cycle , 8 blasts, from that one Son from the first FET transfer ( was a freeze all on the fresh) he is now 19 months old and I am currently in early pregnancy with my 2nd FET out of my 20 eggs!. I was age 35 three months off 36 at time of egg collection too think she will do good x
