Has any one gotten really bad heartburn from progynova tablets?
Do you know if your allowed to take any heartburn medication whilst getting ready for FET?
Thanks

I have been on progynova and have had a little bit of heartburn. It comes and goes. I have found a glass of milk works quite well. I did take some heartburn remedy once but it made me feel sick so I have avoided that. I am a few weeks in and the heart burn has stopped and just getting the odd headache. Hopefully it will subside.
Starting pessaries and progesterone injections tomorrow. Joy of more possible side affects.
❤️
This is my first FET and I’m shocked at how long it takes. I got a prostrap injection mid feb, then started progynova yesterday. I start a nasal spray on Monday and I’ll get the pessaries closer to transfer which will hopefully be the end of March. They haven’t mentioned any injections.
I’m dreading the pessaries the most! Xx
The pessaries are ok when you get used to them - I used the back door!
I started Buserelin 8th of February. Injections then Progynova week later and now the pessaries and lubion injections in the morning continuing all until next Tuesday when I stop the Buserelin and then transfer Wednesday.
Like you it’s my first FET feeling a lot better in myself than on my fresh cycle. Still nervous 😬
It’s a longer protocol I think which I am finding better on my body so far.
Wishing you well ❤️💕❤️
I never got a fresh transfer as I had to have a freeze all. It’s funny how different our FET’s are. Hope Wednesday goes well for you and the 2ww isn’t too hellish xxxx
I found the fresh cycle really hard going. Lots of side effects of drugs. A lot of clinics now have found that doing a fresh transfer after stims is less likely to be successful.
Yes it is interesting how our clinics have taken a slightly different approach with medication etc.
I am feeling a lot better this time so I have hope! That’s all we can do.
Wishing you all the best. Keep me updated with how things progress ❤️
Hi Joy. Make sure you take them after food r with some milk. Hopefully that will help. Diane
