I'm pretty sure it's bad news as there isn't a single niggle or cramp since my transfer on Monday but the biggest question mark I have is can a collapsed blastocyst even implant? What I'm reading isn't filling me with much hope. I'm reading its as though the blastocyst is "breathing" as it contracts but because it can take hours to expand again they don't wait to see, they just transfer it. Is it anything the embriologist did when warming the blastocyst? My other two FET my blastocyst was hatching upon transfer and I got bro but this time I had a new embriologist...
UPDATE: I know how frustrating it is to find a link to an answer you're trying to find and they leave you hanging without an update.
I tested out the trigger shot from the day of transfer like always. I got a "not pregnant" on the digital clear blue test the morning of 4dp6dt. I got a "pregnant 1-2 weeks" on the digital clear blue test at 10:30pm that same evening. I got another "pregnant 1-2 weeks" the following morning 5dp6dt.
I went straight in for my hcg blood test that morning (5dp6dt) and it was confirmed that I'm pregnant at HCG 17. Then today (Monday 7dp6dt) my bloods showed my hcg was 62.4! So fingers crossed it keeps doubling!
I want to add that I didn't have a single cramp! Normally in my other pregnancies I get AF cramps or stronger. Nothing this time even now! So it's really hard to believe it might actually be viable!
I'll try and update again soon x
UPDATE #2
Well this pregnancy seems to be progressing as it should. I'm currently 7+3 had my first scan two days ago and there was a heartbeat 💓 still no cramping. Slightly nauseas and tired but nothing else symptom wise. Trying to relax.
So if you do have a transfer of a collapsed blastocyst don't give up hope! Xx
UPDATE 3: still going strong. Currently 25+2 weeks and although this pregnancy is knackering with an 11 month old I wouldn't change it for the world.
Message of you have any questions xx
