I've got the above results from my biopsy last month and they showed nothing. The ALICE and EMMA tests were negative and ERA shows I need the standards 4 days of progesterone. I'm so š¢ know it sounds daft but I was hoping this would show a reason for never implanting. Doctor suggests using my 3 frozen embryos as there's no reason they won't work.
For the next transfer it'll be one injection anyone pessary daily whereas on my previous 2 transfers it's been cyclogest.
Any suggestions or positive stories? Just feeling down and wanted there to be a reason my 2 hatching blastocysts didn't implant

Hi, did u do the PGS? Once you have eliminated the implementation issues, it is highly possible due to the quality of embryos. The grade doesnāt mean anything, I transferred 2 4aa and 1 4bc. Didnāt implement. Even I am doing ERA test now but I donāt expect any problem. Another test you probably can do is NK cells. Even my doctor asked me to do ERA but his concern is more on NK cells due to my previous 2 MC and 2 chemical pregnancy.
No, not done PGS. That's something to think about but feels like they're safe and frozen so worried about testing them. I mentioned NK cells testing but the clinic didn't seem to think it would help. Their suggestion is to use my 3 frozens and then rethink for my second cycle. I'm lucky I've still got another NHS cycle
Yes true, NK cells is the last to check! I did almost everything to check even PGS to confirm that we have normal embryos. This will be the last one to check but they said the process would be the same as ERA so it is better to do everything at the same time - ERA EMMA ALICE NK cells.
Oh I'm sorry to hear about your negative test! We've had 2 implantation failures (both FET, donor sperm). Our clinic suggested PGS after the first failure, or at least told us it was an option because we had a lot of embryos. (We have 6 more frozen). I worried because it says they have to destroy any embryos that come back abnormal. But I've read that they might be unreliable (despite the info video we were given saying they were 95% accurate).I've also never had regular periods and am starting to wonder if testing my receptive window would be more useful. I have a consultation this week to discuss with doc but would love your advice. Good and bad of course xx
The standard is usually 5 days of progesterone so a bit confused with that one!š¤ Are you sure it says the standard of 4 and what you have been doing previously matches this?xx
Yeah, I'm confusing too! I've checked and for previous transfers I've had 5.5 days of cyclogest before transfer. Got to ring on my first day of next period for medication in the next few days so going to confirm with them then about the 4/5.5 days
Yes definitely confirm the results or ask for them in black in white. My transfer was planned meticulously after I got my results and we are pregnant!!xxx
So sorry the tests didnāt provide any answers for you, but also good news that it hasnāt flagged up anything to be concerned about. Iām just about to start my third transfer (second FET) and if this fails, then my consultant advised Iād move to genetic testing. I donāt really know what that involves right now but maybe something you could ask about?
My consultant always tells me that itās down to the egg quality and luck.. I know that isnāt helpful, but I guess sheās right. Sometimes we search for answers that arenāt there, and that can be stressful.
I hope that the three you have left bring you some happy news š¤š« xxx
Thank you, really appreciate that. You're definitely right, it's so hard to accept there's no reason for it not working but maybe I need to think at least we know the transfer window is right. All the best for your FET, sending you loads of positive thoughts
Hey did you have any success? I did the ERa and waste of time said it was receptive. I did pgt and all of my day 5/6 embryos came back normal. I had theee and every single one of them failed to implant. Not even a chemical pregnancy nothing. Iāve had 7 miscarriages though all naturally conceived so I never imagined that the embryos wouldnāt even implant. Iām 42 and donāt know what to do nowā¦
Yes, I'm standard 5 day (126 hours) had 2 transfers following the ERA. The second transfer they gave me a transfer date 4 days after starting the progesterone, luckily I queried it and the senior nurse apologised. Please make sure you work out the transfer date and check it's the date you were expecting after starting medication. Potentially starting my second cycle in a couple of months (5 blastocysts transferred so far) and PGTA testing has been recommended so looking into that. ERA seems to provide really good insight for some people and I was hoping for the same, if it comes back as being standard just need to think of it as another test ticked off to get everything right
