hi everyone
Anyone got any experience of this? How long did it take? Was it medicated? Or just a. Times biopsy? I can’t seem to find any literature on timelines for this. Thanks

hiya I’ve had this. We followed the protocol like I was doing a transfer but instead of the transfer they did the biopsy. The actual procedure was no problem. Tiny discomfort but that was it, over in minutes. Results were 3 weeks later. I was on meds for about 2 weeks before hand xxx
I had this done, it’s very alike a mock cycle with no transfer. The biopsy took a few mins, alike a smear test. I got results back around 2/3 weeks.
Yes me too, a mock cycle (I think I took estrogen and utrogestan) with test towards the end if I remember correctly. Only took a minute or so and got the results pretty quickly. Let me know if you want me to pm you with details of clinic I used ( I was recommended by someone else on this forum.,)xx
Hey Poop84, I did the Endo Quartet (all the ones you're interested in plus NK cells) on a modified natural cycle, i.e. very low dose of stims every other day from Baseline scan on CD3 until hCG trigger shot on the evening of the day when my LH started rising and endometrium was at least 7mm and lead follicle at least 17mm. Then progesterone from the day after ovulation was confirmed until the morning of the biopsy. They did the biopsy on trigger + 7 days. Cannot speak to how painful the procedure is as I also had a hysteroscopy D&C with the biopsy so was sedated. Results were back within 11 working days. xx
hi did you have a break in between the mock cycle and prep? We had a consultation today and my husband understood that as you carry on with the meds and then transfer. It’s so confusing! X
I did the Endo Quartet and then had a rest cycle as the results only came back on Cycle Day 11 of the following cycle but I would have needed to start my injections for my modified natural cycle on Cycle Day 3. If I had only done an ERA test during the mock cycle that probably still would have worked out without needing a rest cycle but we weren't sure whether treatment was needed for EMMA/ALICE so my consultant said transfer is only during the 2nd cycle after the mock cycle. x
Hi I am preparing for one right now, on estrogen from day one of cycle, will be scanned on day 12 and then progesterone will be added accordingly and then approximately 122 hours of taken it, the consultant will take the biopsy. He is going to sedate me to do it as I found the endo scratch very painful…
thanks lovely for sharing.
Did you have monitoring scans or just one at the beginning then later after progesterone? I’m wondering if it’s aliken to a stimulation cycle scan wise ?
The consultant said he will only scan me on day 12 to check lining, if it looks good he will then advise what day to start injections and then I believe the next time I see him, he will be doing the biopsy. I can update you after the 13th March scan as I also want to ask him to check my bloods so we know my progesterone levels as I believe that is also the purpose of the test…
Will do, you too!
Hi Poop, quick update, had my scan today and lining looking good. I start progesterone on Thursday, approx 120 hours before they will go in and do a biopsy. I will also get my bloods done in the morning before the procedure to see what my levels are. I will keep you posted. X
hey lovely aw that’s good not long now! How are you feeling? Xx
Mostly ok but I have my moments. I’m doing this solo with a sperm donor so have moments where I feel quite alone, probably heightened with emotions from the drugs and wish there was someone holding my hand through this and with me at appointments etc… but I am where I am, and holding onto hope for having my baby. 🤞🏽
aww that’s understandable… but hey. You’ve so got this….not in a bad way too most couples I know who go through this there’s always one who doesn’t feel the others supporting them etc. usually women I know feel that way who have been through ivf. You have got this. Roll on embryo transfer and biopsy. Xxx
honestly you may feel like your not on track but you so are! 😀❤️your fat stronger than others for doing it independently. It’s not easy. But it’ll be worth it when you get a bfp and then 9mths later have a little earthside baby in your arms xxx
it’s totally okay( damn hormones) we want them to carry on! Espc progesterone hehe x 🤰you’ve got this. X get some sleep have a lovely shower or some chocolate x
Hey Poop, just got back from my sedated ERA the drugs are wearing off so feel a bit tender. I was going to go back to back and start taking drugs in prep for a transfer in April, but decided that I will let that bleed pass (expected in 3 days according to the consultant) and then the results will be in and then figure the next steps. Needed a break from the drugs! Did you manage to plan yours now?
hey lovely so I’m still in the midst of having a polyp and then also cant cycle as we are off on holiday. The dates we are abroad don’t tally up with the scan and blood tests the clinic need me to do. Sadly. I am looking forward to a break away and some sun. It’s so needed. I’m so glad yours went okay. Fingers crossed the results tell you something for your fet. ❤️rest up xxx
A holiday sounds bliss! I’m tempted myself, just to get some R&R. Let me know how you get on with everything x
