hi all,
I have this coming up in the next week and - in spite of three egg collections with OHSS… I’m shaking in my wee boots about this one! Does it hurt a lot? What have your experiences been like? Feeling quite nervous about it xx

Hi! Totally understand how you feel. If your doctor is good, rest assured it will be as comfortable as possible. I had 2 endometrial biopsies done in a month. They gave me 10mg diazepam each time - see if you can ask for that. I had to arrive at the clinic 30 mins before, take the diazepam there and they called me in.
The feeling I felt was like period cramping. It is over in 2 seconds though. Just remember to breathe and relax. The more relaxed you’ll be, the less tense your body will be which will make it much more pleasant.
Hope this helps and wishing you all the best!
Hi lovely,
I had the ERA/ALICE/EMMA done and TBH it wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
I took a cocodamol about 20 mins before and it took the edge off. The actual biopsy takes seconds so I felt like I worked myself up for very little! It's just a tiny nip then done.
I did get some cramping afterwards but nothing I couldn't handle - just like normal period pains.
You'll be fine xxx
