I had my second scan - day 11 stimming - and I seem to be, on the whole, reacting best to this cycle in terms of growth (have 5 on right and 2 on left, growing in a clump of similar sizes so none too dominant).
They've set me for egg collection on Thursday and then we're doing ICSI this time...so I need nice mature eggs.
So hard to not see the little improvements and start to hope. But really don't want to be crushed again if it doesn't work (my last two cycles I didn't even get to embryo transfer).
Just praying for eggs firstly. And of hopefully better quality than my first cycle...I had 6 but only 3 fertilised normally. Hopefully ICSI will improve that ratio...
Anyone else have egg collection this week?? π

Well dear, I wish you all the best. I moved to Eastern Europe for my journey. I also have done my trigger injection. I have done egg collection this week. Itβs not good if I said I was not nervous. In spite of nervousness I also know that it will be ok. It's part of this journey. I really donβt know what I can do without this forum. Here everyone really helps with understanding the whole process a lot better. I was like you so nervous. It was absolutely fine. I had 15 follicles, ended up with 10 eggs, 9 of which were mature. 7 of those fertilized and 4 made it to the blasto stage. I had IV morphine and gas and air was in dream land. So relaxed and hardly felt a thing. You will be 100% fine. Relax and don't worry. Good luck x π xx
