Let me know Jo how you get on - I will be thinking of you!!
As for me, I've been going in every other day for my scans, the journey is a round 4 hours altogether so that wears me out!
It looks like my insemination day is Friday but will know for sure tomorrow when I go in! Then it's the long two week wait when I will be scared to do anything!!
Good luck for Thursday!
(It's pretty normal to feel anxious)!! xx
Hey. Yuck, 4 hour round trip, Not good x x at least we will be on 2 week wait together. X x good luck with your next scan x x
Had my scan this morning and it's booked - insemination for Friday at 12pm - round 1 (I've paid for 3 rounds but hoping I won't need them all).
I'm feeling a bit scared now but also excited.
Let me know how you get on tomorrow, how long does it take from when they collect your eggs till transfer? xx
Ooh exciting x x fingers crossed we will be first time lucky! X transfer back in up to 5 days depending on quality of eggs x good luck x stay positive x x
How did you get on today Jo? I've been thinking about you.
Mine is tomorrow!! xx
Hi. Not too bad thanks x being knocked out was good, just felt sleepy and a bit sore afterwards. They got 12 eggs out, which is good. Calling me this morning to see how many fertilised over night. Good luck today x x let me know how you get on x x
Hi Jo
I was rather nervous today and didn't sleep very well last night! All went well though, my mum came with me for some support. Heart was pounding in the waiting room, anyway I had to put on a gown and hat and then walked to the treatment room. I had a male doctor do it, which was a bit of a shock but he was nice and made me feel at ease, shacked my hand and just as he was about to insert it, he said 'say a little prayer'!! x Since I've been home, I've had a few tummy cramps (a bit like period pain really) but other than that, I'm fine. Could really do with a glass of wine, I gave up alcohol when I started on the injections.
How may of your eggs fertilized? Glad everything went well for you, wow - that's a lot of eggs!!
Keep me updated and take care xx
Yep my heart was going like mad too. Have cramps too. Have enjoyed a glass of wine tonight whilst the eggs are out! 8 eggs have fertilised,so really happy with that x x hope you have a good weekend and try to relax x x
Thanks Jo - lucky you having a glass of vino, I've missed my wine but a lime and soda isn't that bad!! That's great about 8 little eggs fertilised. That's one thing that may not be in my favour, as I am slightly older than the average women going through treatment, I don't know what my eggs are like! Although I was told that I did ovulate at some point when they did the tests at the beginning. I started on the progesterone capsules tonight. I will catch up with you soon with your transfer news :o) xx
