Gradings are for the morphology of embryos - so how they look from the outside- but don’t give you any information on DNA or gender. Good luck! Xx

Yup gender doesn't come into things here. Cannot gender test in UK. Found an interesting study from years ago in Australia and NZ where the numbers showed slightly higher chance of having a boy with IVF and slightly higher chances of a girl with ICSI. Even though statistically significant still doesn't give you any indication without testing. BBC News - IVF 'increases the chance of having a baby boy'

Re grading I've seen so many stories on here with success with a full range of grades. E.g. no luck with Grade A but success with Grade C. I had success with a 3 day Grade A embryo. It was IVF and I'm having a boy.

Wishing you lots of luck. Xx

Of course you can test gender in the U.K. Either with PGS testing or with the Harmony test once you’re pregnant.

I believe you are only allowed to find out the gender of an embryo during PGD testing in the UK if you have a serious illness or genetic condition that affects one sex specifically. Otherwise you can only find out the sex once you're pregnant.

No not really, you can routinely PGS test during an IVF cycle if you have concerns regarding egg quality (mainly age related)

Everything I have read in the UK says it is illegal to test gender unless there is a genetic issue related to the sex. I think it is common to find out the sex in the US though?

Nope the PGD companies are not allowed to disclose gender in the U.K. by law unless you have a specific genetic disorder which only affects either girls or boys

Harmony tests will tell you the gender once you are already pregnant

There is some evidence that girl embryos tend to be slower to make blastocyst stage which is why IVF tends to Create more boys than girls as clinics naturally favour transferring the strongest fastest ones ones on day 5 (but it is only a slight difference in percentage compared to the naturally occurring average)

I have boy/girl twins. Whilst we can be 100% sure they suspect my boy is the day 5 5BA and the girl was the Day 6 4BB
