I had 2 embryos transferred yesterday as part of a FET cycle: 6B-B- & 6B-B+. The doctor and embryologist made out like this was really good.
Today I had a call to tell me 4 have been frozen and they are graded 2x 6B-B-, 6B+B-, 6B-C. The embryologist told me “these are average embryos only but they work for some women” 🙁. I’ve lost a chunk of confidence now and think the doctor and yesterday’s embryologist were trying to make me feel good. Any experience of these grades? I thought they were good as not only had they thawed as D3 embryos but also hatched out by D5, however turns out this isn’t that important 😕

HI Bluetop1981 , I have not gotten to that stage nd can’t really say anything. All I can say now is be positive and remain calm(not so easy), I have read on forums where people with 6BB was transfered and was successful. I hope someone experienced reply you soon.
Hi this is similar to me. I only got 5 eggs, 2 developed well and on day 3 the strongest egg went back in me . This was grade 7. I was initially devasted that they only got 5 eggs. However they reassured me that it it takes one to work. I also wanted to wait until day 5 but they said it your womb is the better option. Can't give any success stories. I got tested last week and,it came back borderline so need to get re-tested this week. In my gut i don't think it has worked but who knows!! It is all down to luck!! All the best. X
I have my second little boy from a 4BB embryo. Out of my 3 Frosties the clinic made me transfer it last as they said in theory it was the least likely to succeed, but the other 2 resulted in a chemical and a BFN so they were clearly wrong. Good luck with your cycle!
I know this is an old post. I had 7 day 5 blastocysts from a cycle I did at 40. I had 6B+B+ and 6B+B- transferred. One implanted but I had a missed miscarriage at 8w 1d. I am now preparing for another transfer. I have one 6B+B- left, 3 lots of 6B-B- and one 6B-C. I’m more hopeful about 6B+B-, but not so about others. Do you mind me asking how you got on? Thanks
