So we have a 5bb and 4bb Frosties ... I know ideally we would look for AA's ... last time my AA was unsuccessful ! It just worries me that such a perfect embryo didn't work !! Can the embryos change grade once thawed ??
Any thoughts on embryo grading ? - Fertility Network UK
Any thoughts on embryo grading ?
You have good grade embryos 🙂 Try not to worry. From what I have read sometimes the best grades don't implant and sometimes lesser grades do. BB grades are still very good!!
I have also read that embryos can improve once thawed as well.
Good luck with your FET xxx
Thank you for your reply ! We had the perfect embryo last time I just worry so much 🤞🏼 I have faith in my bbs xx
I was the same. Wasn't a perfect embryo first time but the grade was slightly better. 4AB first time and second time 5BA. Both resulted in positive result although went on to chemical pregnancies. So although my second wasn't as good a grade it did still implant. Good luck, I also have faith in them 🙂 Xxx
I really wouldn't read too much into it... I'm currently nursing my 11 week old who was our 4th best frostie! (I think he was a 4bb) our best one (5ab) ended in a bfn and they took 3 frosties out in next best order and the first 2 didn't thaw enough for transfer. They do alter once thawed too, our miracle thawed 95% and was a better quality embryo than the first one on our fresh transfer! He's living proof that grading doesn't matter. I also have a 1 year old nephew who was a 3bc and not good enough to freeze!!
Oh my goodness that's amazing ! It's so reassuring ❤️. I found it so difficult when our fresh cycled failed. It hit me hard. I didn't feel very unwell my ovaries were swollen from ECC, my lining only 6.9 !! I had awful cramps as well as crippling anxiety! However for this transfer I feel great, no real physical symptoms just on and off nausea, I feel so much more positive, my anxiety has massively subsided and my lining was 8.5 today on measurement ! So I feel like the whole frozen transfer is so much smoother ! I've been reading FET success stories and it seems a lot of women feel the same ! I wanted the two Frosties but the clinic only wanted to do one ! So I'm going with their advice. It's so nice hearing success stories just gives me so much hope ❤️ thank you xxxxx
I don't really understand that grading hun I know it as letter with a + or -? How do you grade your way xx
My clinic only graded ours 1-4 so I have no idea what the letters mean! Anyone have more info??
My first higher grade embryo was a failed FET, and the next ones were positive! My clinic doesn't really grade embryos because it can be too subjective. Another friend of mine also got her positive finally on her lower grade embryos.
Loving all the positive stories ! I'm actually getting a bit excited now x
