? Hatched embryo, didn’t implant

Hi all

First ivf fresh transfer on February 6th ( day 6 transfer ) was told that embryo was of high excellent quality, was testing almost daily BFN, on Sunday night 8th day post transfer I tested positive ( several urine test ). Went to get a blood test the following morning & bhcg was 5 = equivocal, the same day I started spotting me thinking it’s implantation, unfortunately the following day I started bleeding & it was my periods, went in today to get a blood test day 12 I have been told by the nurse that my embryo hatched but did not implant, has this happened to anyone ? Did you succeed second time around, I have 2 frozen left

So sorry to hear this. Maybe your body hadn't fully recovered from EC. It's always so hard to understand when it's a great embryo. I'm 7dp5dt with a frozen hatching embryo and praying it sticks!

My clinic recommends freeze all cycles unless the embryos are few in number or don't look like they will make it to day 5 to freeze. Their thoughts are that it gives your body time to recover.
