Hi all.

I’ve been on Menopur 300 and Burserlin 30 for the last 6 days and I have just attended my scan this morning. I’m so dissapointed to find that I only had 2 follicles both were measuring about 16mm. They did say she could see about 5 very small ones measuring about 6mm but they won’t have time to catch up with the first one.

Has anyone experienced Similar and changed protocol etc next time or is it generally because of my age etc. I’m 38, my AMH is 14 but I have a high FSH of 14 as well.

Hello! Sorry to hear what happened today, I just experienced similar. I went in for my scan today and I have 3 dominant follicles at 20mm plus and the rest still between 8-11mm so sadly my cycle has been cancelled, ok so gutted! Have they suggested you can carry on with stims?

If it’s cancelled does it count as a cycle. I’ve got to go back on Friday, what’s the limit on the Size of your follicle. Could they not have used the 3 follicles.

I expect mine will be cancelled but I kind of want some answers.

Are they going to change your protocol

There seems to be an “abandoned cycle” cost so you cover the scans and bloods per day, so I’ve had 4 so will have to pay the fee for 4. They didn’t want to collect just 3 eggs when they know that previous cycles I have had more than that. My largest follicle was 22mm and in previous cycles I’ve had egg collection around 17mm+. I really hope yours doesn’t get cancelled. They have said I will try a slightly higher does for that next round, Menopur 187.5.
